WELCOME

Welcome to the Oxford Deer Project website. This site contains information relating to a Public Service Project lead by graduate students of the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio.

Citizens and community members in the City of Oxford have recently expressed concern over the deer population in Oxford. In an effort to address these concerns, the City Council of Oxford seeks to find effective means of managing the interaction between deer and people within the community.  To date no decisions have been made regarding deer management strategies in Oxford, but recommendations will be made to the Environmental Commission at the end of the project in 2007.

PLEASE TAKE THE PUBLIC SURVEY!
