OXFORD CONCERNS

The Oxford area will continue to experience a variety of changes that will require changes. Construction, stormwater management, traffic concerns, air and water pollution, etc. will be a part of our growing community. The Institute of Environmental Sciences feels that an informed community will make decisions that are more likely to be supported and sustainable. To than end, we will provide whatever educational assistance possible.

BUTLER COUNTY ALSO HAS A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR TRANSPORTATION
Butler County Transportation Plan - DRAFT

Possible Connector Road (in RED)  - ( click image for a larger version):
This roadway will be donated to the county. The donated land will total 10 acres and will include a 100 foot wide section - wide enough to be used as an ODOT / OKI connector road between 73 and 27 as previously approved by the Northwest Butler Transportation board last year. The rest of the connection to 73 is not planned; so this "donation" may or may not be the site of the ODOT / OKI connector.  The City of Oxford is consulting with state agencies to determine the pathway for the 27 to 732 connector. Their initial plans connect to 27 a bit further to the north than this donated portion (below in red). Select this map for a larger version.

ZONING
Oxford, Milford, and Hanover Township, do not decide their own zoning. Butler County does.
Zoning is controlled by Butler County via their Zoning Board.

Butler County Commissioners:  Who are they. How to contact them.
Butler County Building and Zoning Board   Starting point for who, where, what, etc.

Maps:  Land Use Planning Maps created by Butler County   Includes maps of "Existing Land Use" and "Proposed Land Use" of all townships (except Reily - why not Reily?)
